HackUC is a 24 hour high school hackathon hosted by the Union County Vocational-Technical Schools, a district composed of five schools spanning a variety of subjects from engineering and computer science to health and performing arts. Located in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, we welcome all high schoolers!

Eligibility

  • Open to all current high school students.
  • Teams are between 1 and 4 participants.

The team that creates the best project with a .Tech domain wins a $250 Amazon gift card!

Best Startup Hack (4)

Hackers that develop the project most likely to succeed as a startup each receives a Syma X5C 2.4G 6-Axis Gyro RC Quadcopter Drone.

Best Beginner Hack (4)

Winners who show the most development from little knowledge will each receive $2000 Makeschool scholarships.
